Hello everyone My name is Boanerges Miserico and I've been the Community Manager (CM) for the Africa community for over a year. This event proposal aims to deepen understanding and support adoption of privacy-based cryptographic solutions, in particular Firo and Spark Address. The main issue we are trying to address is the lack of awareness among individuals and businesses about Firo solving privacy and security issues in crypto-currency transactions. Many still do not fully understand the solutions available to protect their personal and financial information in the Firo ecosystem. The aim is to make these participants aware of Firo as a solution offering enhanced security and the Spark address as a means of guaranteeing private transactions.
The total cost of the event is estimated at USD 695. Expenses include room hire ($400), YouTube broadcast equipment ($100), sound system ($95) and gifts for participants ($100).
In terms of work, organising this event will require around 10-15 hours spread over several days. The main tasks include preparation, event management and follow-up. The hourly rate can be estimated according to the total budget and the number of hours, but the bulk of the budget is allocated to room hire and equipment.
The idea behind this event is to introduce Firo and its Spark address, which enables private and secure transactions. Firo differs from other crypto-currencies in its focus on privacy and anonymity, making it an attractive solution for those looking to protect their information in the digital world. The aim is to inform attendees about the benefits of Firo, show them how to use the Spark address for their transactions and convince them to adopt these solutions for their personal or professional activities. The event will include presentations, practical demonstrations, comparisons between the Firo Spark address and others, and question-and-answer sessions.
But beyond the event, it is essential to create an ongoing dynamic. This event could become the starting point for a series of regular meetings or community discussions to maintain an active dialogue on Firo and the importance of confidentiality in digital transactions.
The event will be organised in several key stages:
Preparation of the event (2 days): Organising the venue, reserving the space and managing the necessary equipment (sound, video). This stage represents around USD 500 of the budget.
Promoting the event (1 week): Creation and distribution of promotional material, particularly on social networks and in the local community to attract participants.
Day of the event (1 day): D-Day includes welcoming participants, managing on-site logistics, presenting and running the sessions. The estimated budget for this day is USD 195.
Post-event follow-up (1 week): Gathering feedback from participants, evaluating the event and sharing videos or summaries.
The expected results are :
A better understanding of Firo and Spark Address among participants.
Increased adoption of Firo as a privacy-focused crypto solution for both individuals and businesses.
Increased awareness of the importance of security in online transactions and the use of Firo to ensure this.
A positive presentation of Firo as an innovative solution in the crypto ecosystem.
A long-term commitment, with the possibility of creating a dynamic of regular meetings or discussions in the local scene.
I have a wealth of experience in organising and participating in meet-ups in the crypto ecosystem, which allows me to run events on specific themes with remarkable ease. I have regularly organised meet-ups where cryptocurrency experts and enthusiasts come together to exchange, share knowledge and explore new opportunities. This skill allows me to bring a community together around specific topics and create an atmosphere of learning and collaboration.

Note: The basic budget is expressed in USD for a total of USD 695, which makes 278 FIRO for the time being. If the price of FIRO rises over time, we will use the rest of the funding to organise events in the telegram Africa community.
